SA v AUS : 1st Test – Day 3

The Proteas have their backs to the wall after a dismal showing when Mitchell Johnson ploughed through the batting order, taking 5/5 in 21 balls. It seems a draw is the best the South Africans can hope for.
AUSTRALIA 375
S AFRICA 243/8 with Boucher and Dale Steyn at the wicket and only Ntini to come.

  1. Arthur Mailey is the only Australian to have taken nine wickets in an innings. He took 9-121 against England at the MCG in 1921. Johnson could be the second if he takes both today.

  2. Touch-wood Boucher playing them with ease… but only Ntini on the other end… fortunately he’s not swinging wildly…

  4. Blommetjies (sies, en hulle wil nou kastig hê ons moet van die Bokke ook so praat) kom nie te slag aan nie, seems almost like there’s light of a fighting chance.

Nee man, Bokke sal Bokke bly. Sal

    bepaal watter embleem sportspanne
    moet dra nie.
