Die Springbok-slot Bakkies Botha is gisteraand vir twee weke geskors weens ’n skouerloop eergister op die Leeu-stut Adam Jones.

Botha het kort voor druktyd gesê hy is “geskok en oorbluf� oor dié straf wat beteken hy sal Saterdag se derde toets op Coca-Cola-park in Johannesburg misloop.

Rapport het berig Bokspelers is ontevrede daaroor en het daarom nie enige van die twee embleme op die trui (die Springbok of die koningsprotea) vasgehou terwyl die volkslied verlede week in Durban en eergister in Pretoria gespeel is nie.

Volgens mnr. Arthob Petersen, spanbestuurder, “ondersteun die span en bestuur albei embleme en as teken van respek het die spelers besluit om nie enige embleem vas te hou nie, maar eerder met hul arms om mekaar die volkslied te sing�.

    Cleaning out rucks legally vs hitting opposition player in the nuts.

    Lions niggles:

    - Shoving JP into billboards after his try
    - Burger nearly having his neck broken is no different than his attempted eye gorging
    - Sheridon hitting Bekker in the nuts
    - Intentionally jumping onto Habana after his try trying to hurt him

    Bakkies was playing an honest hard game of rugby, proudly springbok style, nothing wrong with it.

    Bunch of hypocrites these poms, they deserved the loss, Simon Shaw crying like a pissy was so typically british.
