I truly can't belive how the british ... (and various SA journos) are twisting what was said to suite their needs. Only thing that confused me for a bit is the walking off to the bushveld to go and eye-gouging a lion - had to read it a few times to realalise he's talking about eye-gouging a real lion and then running like bloody crazy to get away, pretty funny actually :respek: :pdv: I can't belive snor was made to appologise for this by SARU. They should have backed him in this case. I'm not particularly a PDiv fan but I do think SA rugga fans should be vocally supporting him against these scavanging journalists and band wagon jumpers. Sure it is garbled, irrational gobble-de-gook but it is filled with passion. I understand why the media does not respond well to what he says. Most of it does not make any sense. They aim to wright articles filled with logic and constructed with good grammar. He gives them nothing they can use. When it comes to the players it is different. What he says to them is less important than how he say it. Jake White, the technical analyst, laid a good foundation. Most of the players got the why and the how and the when from him. They also get it from their S14 coaches. What they get from PdV is right-brain stuff: emotion, passion, camaraderie, loyalty, sacrifice.
