Western Province bound Bryan Habana looks set to achieve his one remaining goal at the Blue Bulls.
The Vodacom Blue Bulls’ wing Bryan Habana will resume training today and Dr Org Strauss is quite optimistic that the try scoring machine will be fit to play against the Vodacom Free State Cheetahs at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday afternoon.
Habana injured his hamstring in the latter parts of the second half against the Western Province but he is making steady progress and at this stage there is a good possibility that he will recover in time for the Absa Currie Cup final.
Habana’s Springbok teammate Chiliboy Ralepelle, who picked up a stress fracture, is also recovering at a rapid rate and he will join up with the Bulls on Monday afternoon.
Ralepelle did not take part in Monday morning’s training session as he will only be assessed during the afternoon session.
The rest of the squad are all fit and ready to fire and judging by the way they have trained on Monday morning it is evident that the Bulls are more than determined to put the Currie Cup next to the Super 14 trophy.
