This list is from Die Burger’s weekend column Skuimkop:
►Impartial referees that don’t go out of their way to have a go at the Japies.
►Doing away with End Of Year Tours to the Northern Hemisphere.
►New spectacles for the officials that cited the Boks.
►A wonder grow-longer cure for Joe Pietersen, who should have been in the
Bok team had he been 10 cm longer and 10 kg heavier.
►A Springbok pack not in reverse gear at scrum time.
►Air tickets for Jean de Villiers, Tina Steyn, CJ van der Linde and BJ Botha to come home.
►A Stormer’s team that performs according to expectations.
►A Cape team without Fijians on the wings.
Let me add a few of my own:
►Getting rid of Mike Stofpiele by finding him a job not remotely connected to sport.
►No South African team in the last four of the Super14.
►A REAL B-TEAM selected on merit and with a decent coach for an 8-game tour in Argentina.
►The Boks broadening their ways of attack to include more than their limited kick-and-chase gameplan.
►A decent attacking midfield combination.
►Selecting the best players, even if they are playing abroad.

- rehire Eddie Jones now until end of WC 2011 as technical advisor.
- get Smal back as Forwards coach!

Great running rugby in shitty conditions and current laws – up to the coaches/players to use the ball.

The rights for NH rugby is a mess in the USA so I don’t see any of it. Unfortunately.
But I fully agree, it’s up to the teams to choose their styles.
2009 was not due to the laws but rather due to the changes in laws. When the environment changes drastically, conservatism is the natural (and prudent) response. Things will settle in the next few years.

Great Test match against the poms as well, I just love test cricket and hopefully with our match and the one that was played down under, it was showed that test cricket is better than this pajama cricket that the kerrie people like.
Nothing comes even closed to test match cricket.

Die Burger’s wishlist makes me want to add mine:
> Bok supporters and officials to get rid of their persecution complex – the refs and citing officials do not hate us nearly as much as we think they do!
> Coaching staff and supporters to just once take a loss by the Boks without blaming the ref, weather, travel, fatigue etc
> A return to the Boks playing exciting rugby with the emphasis on attack play – seconding your wish here Boertjie.

Baja daankie oom Kersveesfader ek sal dit baie wardeur en dis nie eers groot plek in oom se perdekarriekie nie. En my pa sal okie meer so baie vloek en die brannewyn so vinig dringk as hulle minder skop en weer mag trap nie.
