Springbok centre Marius Joubert, after more than a year out of the Clermont starting lineup, could be in line to make his first return to the Clermont first XV this weekend when the French giants take on Albi.
The experienced South African last started a game for his Top 14 team in January 2009 and made a failed attempt at a comeback from the bench later in the same year.
A former Stormers star, Joubert has now had two hamstring operations to repair the damage. How though, after months of rehabilitation, he is back in the Clermont training group and is expected to feature on Saturday against the Top 14 strugglers.
