The Stormers team to take on the Hurricanes this weekend has been released.
The Stormers team sees few changes to the one that beat the Highlanders. Naqelevuki retains his place in the team together with Duvenhage who retains the 9 jersey as Coetzee looks for bulk and kicking options in what is expected to be a wet Newlands.

Should have played Lionel last week so that he could show what he’s got. Got a funny feeling it is gonna bite them in the arsh later in the competition. They gonna be force sometime to put him in against a big side and just maybe he will fu.. up and he will be another Gaffie saga

Ja, we had a thread last week
re not providing chances for
players to grow – but rather
sticking to the incumbents.
Breezes’ backline woes will be
their end.
And I won’t even cry.

One dimension rugby has no place in modern day.

I was going to ask from where… but then I realized that they would happily prance into Polsmoor and get coy when called “sweet cheeks” by some tatoeed 20 to life gangster from the Flets…

Would rather that he plays 20 last minutes first for a couple of games before starting an important home game! With time he can start a game, but let him grow into confidence rather than put undo pressure on him!
No need to change a winning team against the hurricanes, they are a strong side. If the Stormers are in front, give him the last 20 to 30 minutes with bash on his inside as cover.

Reply to Vloye @ 8:11 am: The problem is that even that they are on winning side last week, they did not show any sighs of a quality side that can win this competition. Flip they did not even improve from the games before.
The backline is not creating changes, Grant is solid but no imagenacen

The back-line is not creating changes, Grant is solid but no imagination. De Jong is not cutting it at inside center with Grant their. Habana do not get enough of the ball. Fu.k Fourie is not even seeing the ball.
You can not tell me not to change a winning team, if they were playing the Canes last week like they played the Highlanders they would have lost.
Look at what the Bulls is gonna do to the Highlanders this weekend.
Highlanders was the ideal game to test Cronje.
