If England need two Frenchies (Armitage’s both played for France U21) and a Saffa then good luck to them
IIRC Dowson and Faltman are Aussies!? Can anyone confirm?

Barritt’s best season was 2007 and then he folded… he played flyhalf a few times too. Reminded me of a younger version of Dick Muir. Nothing special… just consistently competent performances… but I think he got screwed by the need to play Adi Jacobs…
I know the Capetonians hate him but then again what’s new in that department…
June 22nd, 2010 at 10:30 am
Who cares? Only

Do you make these things up as you go along or do the comments from the one or two Cape Town friends you might have sum up the entire province or its people?
June 22nd, 2010 at 11:02 am
The very same Barrit handed Juan de Jongh his ass so solidly in the Saracens / Boks game, not once, but twice.
Every time was when de Jongh had white line fever (which he still suffers from), he didn’t pass, and Barrit not only tackled him, but ripped the ball and turned him over on the try line.
He is a quality player which was lost due to incompetence of player management.
It’s a shame.

Don’t let the gods of SA rugby hear you talking up a backline player from north beyond the Hex River as that is blasphemy and worthy of several hysterical responses

As hy so goed is hoekom het geen bok coach hom ooit gekies nie? En hoekom is hy omtrent 5de in die ry in Ingeland?

Barrit about to sing the English anthem and then face his first haka in an England jumper…
Maori’s smashed the Irish 12… let’s see how Brad does here?
June 23rd, 2010 at 9:38 am
England starting extremely quickly swinging it around the backs… Barrit involved in two touches leading to the first penalty to England…
June 23rd, 2010 at 9:41 am
3rd touch to Barrit… swings it quickly down the line for Armitage to reek havoc again… and there’s the try!
This backline looking better than the test team!
June 23rd, 2010 at 9:42 am
10-0… Maori’s flustered…
June 23rd, 2010 at 9:43 am
Barrit has been very good for Sarries playing an expansive game – suits him!

Best try of the season anywhere that the Maori’s have just scored!!!
June 23rd, 2010 at 9:50 am
Would love to have a player like Gear in the ranks…
June 23rd, 2010 at 9:52 am
With all these games the Maori’s are getting together this year… they are going to be able to smash most test teams and definitely test the Boks…
Brett, McAllister looking great too…
Only position NZ are a bit bare in is lock otherwise they could easily put together 3 test teams this year…

17-13 Maori..

NOT selecting a guy because
of his culture or race is
also against the constitution.
Yet there are many qualified
whites, but posts stays unfilled
- and delivery goes down the
drain – because there are not
suitable POCs to fill them.
And “suitable” ones are not
trained either.
OK, enough politics from me
