SA Rugby has advised all European Clubs who were scheduled for visits from Springbok management of a change of plans.
Release
The South African Rugby Union would like to advise media of the facts around the planned visit of Springbok coach Peter de Villiers and Andy Marinos, national teams manager, to three European-based rugby clubs during September.
· The visits were scheduled to coincide with an IRB Rugby Conference, which both De Villiers and Marinos were due to attend.
· Visits were planned to Bath (England), Ulster (Northern Ireland) and Racing Metro (France). The visit to Paris was planned for Wednesday and Thursday, 29-30 September.
· Following the cancellation of the IRB Conference, all three clubs were advised that the visits would be postponed. Ulster and Bath acknowledged the advice, Racing Metro did not. Several Racing personnel – including coach Pierre Berbizier – were included in the advisory email.
· SARU did not contact any of the three players directly as the appropriate protocol is to communicate through a player’s club.
SARU trusts that this clarifies any misrepresentation or misunderstanding of the facts as they related to the planned visit to Racing Metro.
Note: Perhaps Steyn should pick up the phone to find out what the circumstances are before he cries foul in the media.

Like I said, given his little hissy tiff in the media, Steyn can fuck right off.

Not unexpected that Morne would hysterically trumpet the cause of his favorite wet dream…
Okay so let’s get this from all concerned
Steyn’s club gets advised they can expect a visit
Club tells player
SARU send e-mail and says “not happening”… club claims “we never got it” and then the SARU says “but we sent it” and have no read or delivery receipts…
Club says to player
“Your national people are pissing us off”
Player says “guys this is embarassing me and my club”
Morne says
Like I said, given his little hissy tiff in the media, Steyn can fuck right off.
Uhm no Morne
Actually you can fuck right off…

Strange two other clubs received this email and acknowledged it…
But then again I don’t expect you to read, past that point long ago.

And of course I expect you to look beyond the facts at hand, and come up with your own wet dream of what happened.
