Dublin – Nigel Owens, who handled the Tri-Nations Test between the Springboks and All Blacks in Soweto earlier this year, has been handed the whistle for the opening Test of the Boks’ November Tour when they face Ireland at the opening of the brand new Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

The Sharks No 8 Ryan Kankowski has been suspended from all forms of rugby for one week after he was found guilty of foul play during Saturday’s Absa Currie Cup game against the Xerox Lions in Johannesburg.
