Only bad thing about this is that it opens the door for that fat little scrum capped gnome from the Guppies.

    In Snor’s books, not mine.

Boer I’d play Adi above meisie and Jean Divs anyday.

In fact a 12) Adi and 13) De Jong Combo might be the best we have.

Adi’s days at 12 are an ‘anomaly’… noone can even remember seeing him play there at CC level even…

At best I’d have a ‘fit’ Adi off the bench at 13 for his experience… but fit he ain’t…

This tour is about winning… so the last thing they should be doing is messing with combo’s yet again… one of the primary failures of 2010 when looking at 2009…

A Kiwi mate has a great wee saying with regards to this after guffawing at the constant changing of centres… which I have quoted before…

Q “What is the difference between JDV/JF and Nonu/Smith in 2009 and now in 2010?”

    A “About 10 tests together!”

JF is out of the tour, JdV needs a rest IMO – he played the NH season, came to Stormers and played the S14, then 3N and now CC…

Adi needs game time and IMO this tour is not all about winning. The WC next year is all about winning.

Yep I know JF is out… and I also know JDV has been included in the squad so will be played… hopefully not at wing (OS did he not play from the bench for most games)?

I’m punting Snor will go with Hougaard, Habana, Steyn, JDV, JDJ, Aplon, Steyn… and I wouldn’t have a problem with that for the Irish game (as they are in our pool to me it is the most important)…

The bench is where Snor and I will differ greatly!

JdV did start from the bench in the first few games but towards the end of the season he was a regular starter.
