7 mins and a moerse fight breaks out when the rebels who play in the same colours as last year’s Stormers take exception at Berrick barnes taking a ball offsides

Mark Lawrence is having none of it and yellows two players and “I’m not standing for any of that”

This reminds me of when we’d play against Hennie Basson Laerskool in primary school…

With their 600 kids and 300 boys they were no match for us at Baanbreker with our 1200 kids and 600 boys…

Scores would be like us winning all games

    1st XV 40 – 0
    2nd XV 66 – 0
    3rds – no game
    U11A 36 – 0
    U11B 24 – 0
    U10A 28 – 0
    U9A 44 – 4
    U9B 52 – 0

Tahs spent the first 20 mins absorbing Melbourne’s attacks and then slowly took control and in the third quarter killed the Rebs and in the fourth coasted in…

    The stormers won’t be demoralized…

    They’ll make excuses

Srange that the poor Rebs are dressed in the same jerseys as what the Stormers were last year… can understand why the Stroompies changed their jersey to a more Wiepie look this year…

And yes i quite like watching them and the Shocks lose…

Total lack of tactical kicking… they tried to play Harry Viljoen rugby…

The worse the guys did the louder the crowd… best stadium I have been to for rugby…

    Thanks Bryce

I could see the crowd really displayed “gees”

That team owes that crowd big time

Even at 43-0 down the cries of “Rebels! Rebels! Rebels!” went up each time they looked mildly ready to attack…

However for that twenty or so first half minutes they DID look good enough and the same in the last fifteen minutes…

Big disappointment losing Hilgendorf… he’s been sublime all practice games… he is a far better tactical kicker than Cipriani…

    And from 15 Huxley wasn’t much better…

Tahs were brilliant though once they got started… but it was a rort no matter which way one looks at it…
