Second last game of the weekend and the second SA derby…

Bulls to win by plenty after a spirited start by the Lions.

A lot similar to what happened in Melbourne…

    Davids prediction

    Sad

But 2011 is NOT the Lions’ season

2012 and especially 2013 will be.

    WOW

10 phases of sustained bulls attack on Lions line and the lions win a turnover and… counterattack going back to Bulls line…

    Incredible intensity!

VD Heever catches and runs it back from inside his own 10 meter line through the middle and scores under the poles…

I wish that grommige Boer south of the Hex saw that…

I am sorry that the Lions are playing poorly

It was quite amazing to see the huge number of lions fans who came out today and proudly wore jerseys.

For the first time since I moved to Kempton Park eight years ago we certainly outnumbered the guys in the blue jerseys for a change and assuredly outnumbered the guys in the Shocks and Cheetuhs jerseys..

Fact is Lions desperately want a team to shout about… and to wear their gear again…

I sincerely hope the lions give a better account of themselves in the second half…

The Bulls are pwning us in the scrums

    Oh all over actually

It is incredible to see what a machine this Bulls side is…

After this first half display alone one has to say they are CERTAINLY the favorites to win this Super 14

Nothing the Blues and Crusaders did or even the Tahs has convinced me otherwise…

And in contrast to Shields’ airy beliefs the reds will not change my mind tomorrow either…

Well I got fkn soaked at the game, but first one I’ve been to in years and absolutely loved it! The crowd was happy and even though we lost the Bulls fans weren’t twats about it. I actually think some of them were a little shocked we came so close. A bonus point loss is a good enough start for me

I must say Bulls fans are VERY gracious… whether in victory or defeat

I recall in Durban 2007 how, having literally snatched victory from the Sharks in the last second the Bulls fans were nevertheless extremely gracious about it… and so were the disappointed Sharks fans… I think it contributed immensely to the great after match spirit and the parties that carried on until 02:00 the next morning… involving fans from both sides…

My brother in law was at a party in Pretoria in a Lions shirt and he said although the Bulls boys were a bit groot bek in the first half by the 70 minute mark they were glued to the television in terrified silence…

Stupid thinking from the bulls almost cost them the game. Were in the first half they played the normal Bulls Rugby with forwards dominating and backs as fillers the bulls thought they would rub the Lions out of the park.

They should have gone back to what they do good when the Lions came at tyhem and played with their strong point which is their forwards.

Must say I was quite impressed by the Lions they gonna go well in the S15 this year I believed
