An awesome weekend of rugby!  An awesome Rat Race competition!  And as with the games, there were losers, and there were winners!

First of all, thanks to everyone who has played in our Oakley Rat Race conference, and especially, thanks to the folks at Oakley for sponsoring these amazing prizes that we can now give away!

There were no doubt some very nervous folks prior to this weekend’s game as really only one log was decided before the final week’s matches.

I am however very proud to announce the winners in our Oakley Rat Race competition for the Antix Rugby Union Franchise eyewear!

In top sport on the Bulls log, onerb’s RAGING BULLS saw off a spirited challenge by garyj1 and Thomas.  His team might have bowed out in this year’s Super Rugby competition, but there is no doubt the Bulls Oakley Antix will help ease the pain!

Without much of a challenge, one of our longest serving members, Willem, walks off with the Cheetahs Oakley Antix.  I would just love to know how he is going to explain to his laaities why he has some kiff Cheetahs sunglasses and they don’t when next they go to Vodacom Park in Bloemfontein to see their team play!

The Lions log was a dog-fight until the end, but an awesome final round from Number12 saw him pull clear of the rest of the pack, three of whom ended up on the same points just behind him!

The Sharks log and the Stormers log were probably the most tightly contested of them all.  Our man Ollie managed not only to defend his one point lead from last week over Treehugger, but a great last round of picks saw him top the Sharks log with points to spare!

Jacques (bunny) mounted a massive challenge in the final round on the Stormers log, scoring a record 17 points for the Round!  Unfortunately this was not enough to kick JT of the top spot of the Stormers log!

REMEMBER, this week we launch the final conference in which you can win a pair of Springbok Oakley Rugby Union Antix, so there is still a chance to walk off with some awesome eyewear!  Details to follow…

    Not that 2 points would have made nay difference though.
