We bring you the latest news from the Rugby World Cup.

Bakkies a non-starter

It is just about confirmed that Bok enforcer, Bakkies Botha, will not be risked in the Springboks opening RWC match on Sunday due to an Achilles injury he sustained.

Danie Rossouw is expected to start in Botha’s place with Johann Muller providing cover from the bench.

The Springbok team will be announced tomorrow.

Rossouw not a bad replacement at all. Just hope he can last for more than 65minutes. Not much faith in Muller. When was the last time he played first class rugby???
