Springbok utility back Frans Steyn will make a decision within the next week about whether or not he’ll be returning to South Africa.

He confirmed via Twitter that he received a good offer from the Sharks, but his current French club – Racing Metro – also made an attempt to retain his services.
“I don’t know what I am going to do yet return or stay at racing but the sharks and racing metro have been talking to me.
“I will give a answer within the next week will let you know!!!” tweeted Steyn.
Sharks CEO Brian van Zyl earlier this week said they expect Steyn to return to Durban after England tour South Africa in June.
“We want to sign a contract of at least three years with him,” said Van Zyl.

Racing is not a happy camp at the moment – they got bliksimmed yesterday by Toulon.
Interesting is that both teams are bought super stars, the 1 is unmotivated and a shambles where the other is playing with passion…
What is Toulon doing right and what is Metro doing wrong?

If I was him I will look for a different side Sharks I do not think is his answer, Bulls would be a great choice but I think they spend all their money on Sadie and JJ.

Bulls still have plenty buddy…
But they like team players who buy into a team’s ethos.
FRans is not likely to fit into the whole “family” thing… which is why if Sadie end Engelbrecht become fixtures you are NOT likely to see them in a WP jersey ever again.
Same like the Hougaards.
Once a bull always a bull.
