Titus out, Thelo in

WP Rugby union has announced that Tobie Titus has resigned from his post as president of the WP Rugby Football Union with immediate effect to take over his new role as a member on the Executive Council of SA Rugby.

It was reported last week that Titus was elected to the post on the SA Rugby executive following their AGM.

To serve in this new position he had to stand down as president of WP Rugby Union which will now be filled by Thelo Wakefield in an ‘acting’ role of president.

This role will most likely be made permanent following WP Rugby’s AGM which also takes place later this year.

    Ek kan nie fokken glo dat daar nie n bekwame rugby administrateur in die hele Kaap is nie! Wat se kwalifikasies het Thelo behalwe dat hy n gatsby eet kompetisie gewen het toe hy 14 was?
