The DHL Stormers were forced into a number of changes for their match against the Force this weekend.
Andries Bekker has been declared fit and will lead the side from lock but he has lost his regular lock partner, Etzebeth, who did not recover from a shoulder injury.
With Koster being the latest player to fly home Coetzee was forced to include Nizaam Carr in the starting 8 position where he will be assisted by Kolisi and Elstadt.
Don Armand who was flown over will cover on the bench for lock/loosie while Brok drops to the bench for Malherbe.
In the backs Habana will once again do duty at outside center with Danie Poolman elevated to a starting position in place of the injured Gio Aplon.

Not a lot that you see a captain play wing, they normally prefer a player closer to the action. So cant say I think Bekker is the right choice.

Was AB 1987 skipper not a wing?
Been some fine wing skippers… not in SA
But in any case given the way the leaders concept is used in the modern game why the hell does your skipper need to be “close to the action”
In most cases John Smit and Victor Matfield were apparently at wing and they were fine captains.
I do not see the difference between being at wing and buried in the middle of a scrum or being at the bottom of a ruck.
In any case, think of this
In 2011 Bok captain made ZERO calls.
Attack plays were called by FDP
Defence plays by Jaque Fourie
Lineouts by Vic Matfield
Scrum options by Pierre Spies
John was there to say “C’mon guys” when the team stood under the poles trailling or to say “Fukkem” after a ref sent him to “talk to your players”

Deon, when you say fuckem from the wing, not so many hear you or take you serious
