This must be so dissapointing to Lions fans. It is painfull to watch to be honest. All players on the field bar one Coetsee at the back, are pisspoor. Do they even have defensive training in j’burg?

It seems they lack commitment, and now thew Lions get a penalty kick on the tryline, plus the fkn idiot james charges in, reverse the penalty plus a yc. James you fool. I also question the captaincy of Strauss. He has not shown any heart or effort in the past few weeks.

I can only find one player playing with all his heart. Maybe count minnie as well. 2 players in a team of 15 showing any commitment.

This might sound contriversial, and I hate saying it, but maybe a visit by the kings might show the the Lions what happens when you dont care. Bring on the kings in 2013.

Nee donner, I dont mean that, but this Lions team are really a bunch of no commitment, no names. I feel sorry for dawie, kat mawn, etc. You dont deserve this team.

When the jokes subside, shed a tear for the unnecessary end of a magnificent era in SA rugby.

No fan needs to be put through this shit.

It is sad that a union like the Lions can dish up such a performance. Their was no passion, no drive to win this game. I know they have a lot of injuries but you could see the players are not playing for each other or the team. Five months ago this team won star teams with the passion they played with and the way they kept the ball and run from end to end.

Players like strauss, jantjies where metioned as boks for 2012 but they are playing like hasbeens now.

I would actually not mind anymore if they kick them out and bring the anc team of watson in for next year. If I was a player in the lions I would find a way to get out of my contract now and leave. I feel sorry for all the supporters who sits now on the sideline and looking at this shit.

I was hoping things will change but it is just gonna get worse.

I can announce that my time supporting the Lions is drawing to a close ..I have frankly had enough of this shit dished up week in week out …other than Coetzee and Minnie the players looked as if they just couldn’t be bothered.

And to think I wasted money on season tickets ..what a frickin joke.

I welcome the Kings next season and wish em all the best.

    Sad Day.
I have watched true lions fans stand fast
    when there seemed no hope,
    for years.
Only to come to a day like today.

    I find the lion players
    undeserving of their fans.
