Olivier and Kankowski join JF in Japan after S15

Meisiekind and Kanko are going to Japan after Super Rugby…

SA Rugby website reports that both have signed on for an undisclosed Japanese club at a salary of R500K per MONTH.

Both apparently told Heyneke Meyer that they’d be off to Japan after the Super Rugby tournament. It is unclear whether they will play a role in Castle Rugby Championship.

Although one is bound to hear the cries of joy out of Cape Town, you have to start getting worried at the way we’re bleeding players off to overseas, especially when they are incumbent Boks. There is not really all that much in the line of up and coming talent for Heyneke to use yet… it looks like we’re in transition rather than able to bring in great players to replace these guys immediately.

Kankowski is only on a 6 month sojourn as it is rumoured his relationship with Plum-for-brains has soured… could it be possible that PLummo is gone by 2013?

    Say it is so…

    That’s a cool R3 mill for just 6 months…

    Hey I think I can still play…

I did quite well at my wife’s company’s touch rugby tournament at Christmas last year…

Player revolts is the only way the Sharks ever fire coaches… although the Sharks have now played in three out of four CC finals…

    :P

Let’s see how they fare in yet another disappointing S15 campaign… but Kanko has a point he’s rarely started the same loosie-trio nor 8 in two consecutive games nor got the balance correct…

As for your stint in Japan… you’ve got to have brown hair mate (hence WO’s recent hair-cut)

Jip, also saw the piece about Kanko’s
    sour relationship with Plum.
I have an idea things between the coach
and Alberts are also not of the best.
Meantime the Bulls have signed the
WP u.21 Bok flyhalf Handre Pollard.
