    No mention of Lappies starting?

Oh yes Cheetah rugby matters not. Not a huge Rocco Jansen fan.

Marcel needs to fulfill his promise now. Trevor has had some great games in the loose but I dont know if he is a good scrummager – sure with Os he gets good help and with SA rugby being what it is the kid might be a Bok soon.

The no-name Izak and Andries who outplayed Bekker and Etzebeth in Cape Town going from strength to strength is the reason I still watch this game and love my team.

Go out and play boys. Use your backline. Score tries and try not to let in too many.

and fok current wisdom that suggests winning rugby has to be boring. persist in what you do and the results will come.

give stormers defence and cheetah attack.

then Bokke will also give teams 60 points.

Lucky the Bulls front-row cannot scrum… Nyanke is a sloth around the paddock and doesn’t appear to be a strong scrummager, a newbie, two converted flankers at lock and AJ at the base they are going to have their work cut out for them…

At least we get to see what Willie can do from 15 particularly under the high balls…

Your wisdom the last few seasons has seemed to be “who cares if my team continues to lose and come 10th in the competition as long as they play loose/7′s style touch-rugby scoring a try for every one they let in” :whistling:

    no thats not true bryce.

I fucking hate the way we miss tackles. But it seems the average SA player cannot have 2 mindsets at once. Its either we are pragmatic and boring or we are flamboyant on attack and careless on defence. Its bloody annoying!

But Cheetahs at least try doing something different. Which is why more and more neutrals actually sit and watch their games on telly.

Rugby will benefit if more teams have a a bit of a go.

i counted 3 times in Bok game when we had huge overlaps yet receiver did not even THINK to go for it.

The old debate of ‘playing whats in front of you’ again applies.

Cheetahs, and at times maybe the Sharks, are the only teams in SA who still do this.

Did you watch the Australian white-wash of the current 6N champs and they way in which they achieved it… it was most certainly not in the backs with scintillating play?

Or do you expect the Boks to have beaten the Poms like the NZ’ers did against one of the shitest IRE teams in recent history?

But I do agree the Boks need up-skilling in handling, better backline moves from set-pieces and across the paddock… but they damn well need to get their forward’s dominating like they did for that magical 20mins in the second but for the entire 85mins…

Phase one achieved (or did you expect them to play like the Cheetahs scoring 30 tries for every 30 they give away)?

Now onto phase two for HM… and there are rumours two Aussie coach’s are in negotiations for the Boks and Bulls…

    As an aside…

“Cheetahs, and at times maybe the Sharks, are the only teams in SA who still do this.”

I beg to differ… the Bulls yet again this year (particularly at the beginning of the comp) were scoring all the 22-man-all-across-the-paddock tries and the top try-scorers list shows that…
