No Lambie, Alberts for Sharks

The Sharks will go into their do-or-die clash against the Bulls this Friday without stars Pat Lambie and Willem Alberts.

Both Alberts and Lambie failed late fitness tests and will be replaced by Marcell Coetzee and Louis Ludik respectively.  From reports Michalak was always going to start at flyhalf with Lambie running out at fullback depending on fitness.

Surprisingly Deysel was not included at the blindside with the Sharks deciding to re-arrange their back row combination which sees Ryan Kankowski start at 8 and captain Keegan Daniel pack down at 6.

Frans Steyn makes his long-awaited return to Sharks rugby in the midfield where he will be partnered by Tim Whitehead at outside centre.

    Bugger!

Bulls to target Beast in the scrum.

Should have played Steyn at fullback to keep the Bulls down their side of the field.

    Go Sharks!!!!

Reply to Kevin Rack @ 5:50 am: Bulls props are very good in open / tight play, but scrumming is not Werner Kruger’s forte

Guppies will take this one – better allround team IMO! :pot:

Sharks have the edge in the FR
Bulls have the edge in the 2nd row
    Parity at BR
    9/10 – Bulls
    12/13 – Sharks
    back 3 – Sharks

Bulls have a terribly weak front scrumaging (sic) row in Ralepelle, Kruger and Greyling…
