Yes the final is forgotten and everybody is looking forward to the Rugby Championship, but there are still some good news for 2 people.

The Rat Race did not disappoint and unlike the final score in the rugby game, it was a race to the end here on Ruggaworld.

Firstly congratulations to Amethyst for getting the closest to the actual result over the weekend and earned himself a pair of Oakley sunglasses. Well done my friend and enjoy the great prize. :applause:

Now fo the big one. The overall winner of the Rat Race has been determined by ONE point, yes ONE point. Well done for staying the course Kingpaul. Your team fell at the second to last hurdle, but you didn’t. :applause:

Hard luck to Logan, Marcel, gary1-Bulls and Amethyst. It was a closely fought race and a great one.

Thank you to everyone that participated. We hope you enjoyed it adn believe me the Rat Race will be back for the Super 15 next year. :bowdown:

    Klaar aangesluit by klub, baie soos in Nam…sukkel bietjie om vol oefening te doen want is maar moeilik om almal daar te kry. Werk, vrou/kind(ers) en al die klas dinge.
    Het Saterdag ‘n 7′s toernooi gehad, 5 spanne het opgedaag en dink daar moes 6 wees. Redelik warm en veld was maar hard, maar niks fout met entosiasme en skills nie. Refs is bitter treurig en reels nie goed geblaas, maar was oor regte ref eers vir finaal opgedaag het en spelers sommer intussen geblaas het. Uiteenlopende spelers, jonges in my klub 21 en oudste 42 (en hy speel losskakel/vleuel – blerrie vinnig!).
    Nog ‘n snaakse ding was dat daar 2 meisies was wat ook gespeel het, teen ons! Het gesien die een warm saam op en gevra – ja, se hulle, sy speel en vat die hits net soos enige man! Toe ek teen haar span gespeel het, was sy nie op…weet nie mooi hoe ek sou maak daar nie!! En hulle doen die ‘vervyfskoppe’ van die doodlyn se kant af. Reken dis oor die grond rondom die veld redelik ruig is en dit makliker is.
    Dis nou die begin van “fall” deel van klubseisoen, hou aan tot 1ste week in Nov. ‘n Man registreer online, dis baie vinnig en goed gedoen dink ek.
