I have a bit of a problem with this weekends semi-finals. Why oh why do the top FOUR teams in a SIX team competition still need to play semi-finals? It is ridiculous.

The top two teams (Sharks and Lions) should automatically qualify for the final. The Currie Cup could have ended a week earlier giving most Boks at least an extra week of rest and in most cases two weeks extra.
