Are trades allowed mid-season in S15?
I think the only way for Stormers to rectify things is to bring their Prodigal Son back to his home town….
That’s right. Stormers need Messerschmitt – Willie.
Craven – I know you’re with me on this. Stormers backline would “jump like a Willy in 4 wheel drive” if he was a part of that setup.

Stormers need to be up to it for this game. The Chiefs have a set of forwards which performs better with Japan-bound Craig Clarke back as captain. However, AC needs to use the Stormers superior lineout skills. The Chiefs did not cover themselves in glory in the lineouts in their wins over the Highlanders and Cheetahs. Kick for touch rather than infield perhaps?. If the Stormers give possession back to the opposition they are going to get hurt by the Chiefs love of running back at the opposition.
The Chiefs centres are probably not well known in Cape Town, the ex-Hurricanes 100kg centre Charlie Ngatai brought in to counter Jean de Villiers and Tim Nanai-Williams. Hope our much vaunted backline defence are aware of their abilities. Please, Stormers, no giving away penalties, the fullback, Gareth Anscombe has been a penalty kicking machine since moving to the Chiefs from Auckland.

I am actually looking forward to this game. I trust the Stormers will play better at home and I am quite keen to see what the Chiefs make of some decent defense. But, and this is a huge but, if the Stormers forwards get rolled on Saturday it is going to be a long afternoon at Newlands (as KingPaul predicted).

Cruden IMO the best 10 on the planet at the moment – Chiefs with him at 10 are dangerous!.

One of their best packs in quite some time… Rettalick is the ultimate lock for the modern game!
