pretty much the perfect rugby game.
Yes, lots of mistakes by both sides but end to end stuff, good tries, manic tackles, good kicks etc etc.
The players look free and as if they enjoy the game and both teams play to win.
The kiwis really spoiling us at the minute

Hmmm
The Twitter TLs from NZ were not as fawningly complimentry Brendon…
In fact they were downright insulting of both teams… saying the game was not a good reflection of NZ rugby…
Nobody really wants Baabaas rugby… okay except maybe you…

I’m starting to think that the Barbarians are playing Cheetah rugby. Huge game by the way for the good guys tonight. Cheetahs to put Highlanders to the sword afterwhich time….mirth & merriment will ensue in the comment section.

Reply to The Year of the Cheetah @ 11:35 am:
Both their forwards and backs know how to hit the rucks in tandem at pace for quick ball, have support runners to do this and for the off-load, counter-ruck and pick-and-go at pace up the middle…
RSA teams do not…

The 2 points the Crusaders got from this loss a whole lot better than the other away game v the Blues last week. Great to have scored 4 and nearly 5 tries in Wellington but they lost the game in the first half by not adapting to the ref. I believe he is an Aussie but nobody in the pub I was in knew much of the guy. The penalty count at half-time was 10-1 or more and a team like the Crusaders should have realised that he had an extreme view on joining the ruck from the side. How arriving players join a ruck from the side when they are counter-rucking and going forward is a mystery though.
