Did no one tell these Brumbies you cant play rugby like that in Durban in March? Conditions does not allow it ( or so we are told)

Sheeesh, Brumbies are playing like men possessed, they must be rating their chances at lifting the trophy

The balance of the Sharks loose trio cost them in the first half.
The Brumbies got very quick uncontested ball from the rucks an the holes opened up as a result. They are clearly missing Bismark an Deysel.

Pity the rain came and spoilt it.
Sharks looked like Rising Sunsets III
    in first half.

Last week our SA sides was Ernie Els, this week we are Jurie Els.

    Thank goodness for the Cheetahs.

I’m still waiting for Frans to ignite the Sharks backline. I was more impressed with the unrated centre combination from last year.

I think Frans had a good game in the
    WC 2007 Final.
    Probably his one and only.

Reply to Craven @ 8:35 pm: Steyn’s conditioning looks poor. He weighs 110kg and it doesn’t look like a fit 110kg.
If he retained his speed when bulking up like Robbie Fruen and Sonny Bill Williams it wouldn’t be a problem but at the moment it’s like having a slow loose forward at inside centre.

Imo he needs to go back to his more natural weight, around 100kg if I remember correctly, and get some of his speed and agility back.

I do rate him though, he is still one of my favourate players.

Wow. Only thing holding me back from what I’m about to say is –

Sharks did give many indications that once they ran up against a team that had their proverbial xxxx together they’d be in for a whooping. Not saying they’re all hat & no cattle – they are operating under a big injury debt load right now.

I really hope Jake White & his Machine don’t play the Cheetahs soon. Don’t know what exactly SARU did to that guy but he seems to throw an extra frog foot in his cauldron whenever he comes up against SA teams.

HM best go to church & light more than one candle so that JW doesn’t get the Aus Int job. That would not be good – at all.

Reply to Americano @ 10:51 pm: Yep that is one Christian bent on revenge and if he could bring SARU to its knees he will.
At least he is not Pdiddy or the others who just rolled over and took it.
Well done Brumbies and it huts to say it Jake.

When I see a South African team playing like that I can’t help but be totally pissed off, they didn’t even look like they are trying, it is simply unacceptable.

The Sharks seemed to get their stuff together a bit in the 2nd half, but even then the Brumbies handed out a master class in rugby this weekend, you can’t take that away from them.
