Notes
Quotes from coach, Hugh-Reece Edwards

“We’ve always gone up there and known how we want to play the Bulls and that’s worked for us at times and other times we’ve been physically dominated. We are very aware of their physicality and certainly we know we need to be physical if we want to be in that game.

“The result we need is to come back with a win to have any chance of staying in this competition.

“We have some talented players, some talented backs, and although we don’t have a huge number of backs, with what we’ve got we can certainly play exciting rugby. We know we have to keep the ball in hand for long periods of time against the Bulls and that doesn’t change regardless of the style of rugby we want to play.”

I think Jason Jaftha needs glasses, does the sharks not have an offside line? They continuesly enter from the side, but never gets penalised. Blind as a bat. BTW, has ruggaworld gone on leave?

I am back from Finnland (canoeing, camping, fishing with no one in sight for 2 weeks) and loving the SA rivalry

Jees there are gonna be some sore bodies for a couple of days. I dont think the Bulls are gonna be on the training field on Monday. Not even sure we’re gonna be able to field a team on Saturday. That was tough.

Reply to Aldo @ 9:26 pm:

If you listened post match you would have
heard they wil only be training again on
    Thursday.

What a game! Compared to the Heineken shit
that is. Rugby does not come better. Those
Bulls centres are going to become world class.

Another tought: I don’t think there is a better
passer of the ball – timing, accuracy, speed,
distance – than Willie le Roux. And Strauss amongst
    the forwards.

I think the comment about them only training on Thursday was said in jest. They probably wont have contact training before than, but they have to train dont they? But me thinks Monday will be a video session.

As for Serfontein and engelbrecht. I think they went a long way in shutting some naysayers up who were unconvinced of their defense. Especially Engelbrecht, who had another massive game.

Jup! Jason Japhta does not like the Bulls puytting it MILDLY. Shark foul play was penelized twice and it should have been musch much nmore. Another thing it is EXTREMELY annoyong when Joel Stransky do commentating for the game form such a “PRO SHARK” perspective…really annouying between japhta and Joel’s shiity commentating it spoiled the victorty of the Bulls – Never the less WELL DONE BULLS :respek:

It sort of did Odin, listening to him after the match in the post match interview, you could hear his dissapointment. It was up to Keegan Daniel to subtly remind him that the Bulls has now won. Both Keegan Daniel and Marcell Coetsee really impressed me in the post match interviews.
