Springbok coach Heyneke Meyer has urged his team to up the ante on attack in the upcoming Rugby Championship.
Meyer is satisfied with his team’s defensive structures, but hopes they can add another dimension to their attack, starting against Argentina at FNB Stadium on Saturday.
With the talented Willie le Roux set to be used as a major attacking arsenal, the Boks will be eager to start bagging four-try bonus points more regularly.
“In my 15 matches in charge, we’ve conceded on average one try per game,” Meyer told the Cape Times.
“I’ve got a lot of confidence that the guys can defend… what I want to see is the guys go out there and attacking mindset.
“It might be a cliché, but I’ve always believed that attack is the best form of defence.”
