Weirdly enough every single team in the Premiere Division have still a possibility of making it into the semi-finals, for some teams it will just be harder than others.
The Sharks and Western Province will want to secure a win tonight to make sure of their semi-final spot and move closer to make a home-semi possible.
That is the reason why the match between the Sharks and the Golden Lions will be the main focus this weekend. The Golden Lions have improved week by week and sits nicely in third spot breathing behind the two log leaders. They are only four points behind the Sharks and Western Province which means any slip up from either one of them will bring them closer to the top of the table.
This game will be an epic battle as both teams are riding high from past weeks performances.
The cheetahs are a further four points behind the Lions and have all to play for when they host WP in Bloemfontein. The Cheetahs would still feel the pain of their lost last weekend at the hands of the Sharks and it could be a bad omen for WP as they could feel the backlash from the humiliating defeat the Cheetahs suffered.
The Blue Bulls and Griquas still believe in a semi-final place but most believe they will just be playing to avoid a play-off match at the end of the season.
