All fair in the grand scheme of things… Beale won’t be thinking so after his late face-plant…

I can recall 3 incidents similar to this by Steyn where he has flung a player to the ground late and malicious, real ugly mean cheapshots shows scumbag mentality.

Its the mentality of playing the player and not the ball like trying to run over player too.

For such talent its really sad.

@Mug Punters Organisation of South Africa:

My 12 told me he has been watching the Sharks before our game on saturday and guess what… He got a YC for doing what Steyn did to Beale to the opposition #10 (all in all the opposition 10 is annoying as hell on the pitch…)

At least it did not cost us the game – we won 12-23 in Vienna! :-D

Steyn for some reason has turned into a bit of a ‘cheapshot’ player. Countless times I’ve seen him playing the player just after he has passed the ball, or like last week against the Bulls, he continued to make the tackle after Hougaard has knocked the ball.

Nothing too serious so far but something that Jake might just want to dicuss with the player. Imposing your physicality on the opposition is fine, but it becomes a problem when you do it illegally. Right now he is skating on very thin ice and the thing is, the more he gets away with, the more he’ll push the limits, till he becomes a walking yellow card.
