Waratahs end losing streak to Bulls


The Waratahs ended an eight match losing streak to the Bulls with a 19-12 Super Rugby victory in Sydney on Saturday.

The Waratahs had lost their last eight matches against the Bulls regardless of being home or away and the last time before this that they beat the Bulls was the 2005 Super 14 Semi-final in Sydney.

The Waratahs took the lead after 28 seconds when returning Wallabies fullback Israel Folua recieved a pass from Adam Ashley-Cooper and ran in Super Rugby’s fastest try yet in 2014.

    Jees the Warratahs have some big units and out muscled the Bull as well a much better technique although very questionable. A less biased home ref and a more of a positive mentality from the Bulls would have made the difference.
    Hard to compete with 2 sets of rules….

    Another game Bulls should have won but lost due to poor handling and soft turnovers!
