Tensions are running high at French Top 14 club Racing Metro after team-mates Juandré Kruger and Jonathan Sexton had to be pulled apart following a training ground altercation on Tuesday.
According to the Planet Rugby website, Ireland flyhalf Sexton reportedly screamed in the ear of the Springbok for what he believed to be excessive physicality at a ruck during a training session.
The former Bulls lock did not appreciate the Irishman’s attitude and the duo had to be separated by team-mates.
There is big pressure on the Parisian club ahead of Friday’s Top 14 playoff away to Toulouse. They were the in-form team of the second half of the French season and were on course for a home knock-out fixture before an emphatic 44-10 away loss to Montpellier last weekend.
Kruger, 28, joined Racing from the Bulls last year. He boasts 17 Test caps for the Springboks since making his debut against England in 2012.
