Sharks Director of Rugby Jake White has shuffled his players around for their Super Rugby match against the Crusaders in Christchurch on Saturday.
Willem Alberts reverts back to No.8, having been selected in the second row last week, while Tera Mtembu gets a start at flank, which means Ryan Kankowski and Keegan Daniel will play off the bench.
Etienne Oosthuizen will get a start in the second row, while a vastly experienced front row remains unchanged.
SP Marais reverts back to the starting line-up, which means Lwazi Mvovo moves to the wing in the only change amongst the backline personnel.
The Crusaders come off a big win over the Reds and a five match winning streak (including the scalps of the Brumbies and Chiefs). White said that the Sharks face a tough clash this week as the Crusaders are on a roll at the moment playing with a lot of confidence.
“They’re a good side, let’s not forget they’re an All Black laden side and they’re a team that always hit their straps around this time of year. So it is a difficult time to play them at a time in the season when they are on a high,” said White.
“In saying that, it’s not mission impossible, we have to believe we have a chance and we’ve got to make sure we give it a crack.”
