What to do Jake White?

With the four try bonus point win by the Crusaders this morning over the Highlanders, Jake White can play two hands this afternoon.

Will Jake go for full out win with 35 points and a bonus point to secure a second place on the log or will he spare his players from possible injuries against a Stormers team, that will be willing and ready for him at Newlands.

The Crusaders took the Highlanders right out of the game with brilliant defence and making the most of their changes as they always do at the end of a season. They looked like the championship team like they always do and set the Sharks a huge task to take the second spot away from them.

The Crusaders won the lineouts, scrums and at the end the broken play. Highlanders did not look good today and will have to improve by a 100% to be competitive in the next few weeks if they want to be on the winning side.

Jake White needs to decide how he will take the Stormers on today at Newlands. I would go full guns blazing in the first 40 and see where they are and replace my top players in the second half if things do not go to plan.

There is no reason for Jake to take changes on his players if they have three play-off weeks lying in front of them.

That today’s game against the Stormers will be hard and fiscal is for sure. The Stormers have a few of their legends saying goodbye to Newlands and will play out of their skins to ensure a huge send-off for them.

The Stormers showed against most South African teams that you do not come to Newlands and win, if you want it you will work for it.

The Sharks are the better team, but their record the last few weeks plays against them to win and to go on and win big against the Stormers.

Predictions for this game is a gamble and bookings love games like this but eighty minutes stand in front of two teams with two different  goals.

Yeah right – that may convince Sanzar to
adapt the SS. Two sections, play-offs.
