Cheetahs make two changes for Pumas

The Free State Cheetahs have opted to start JP du Plessis at outside centre for their match against the Pumas on Saturday.

This will see Joubert Engelbrecht moving to the bench and Francois Venter moving from outside to inside centre. Du Plessis have joined the Free State in July after playing in France for Montpellier. The only other change will see Pieter-Steyn de Wet getting the number 10 jersey from Willie du Plessis who move to the bench.

The Free State lost their first encounter to the Pumas in Nelspruit 28-21 and will to change the scoreboard at home this Saturday.

    Is JP Du Plessis not that Australian League convert the WP imported wit moerse fanfare from Australia a few seasons ago?

    I think it is one and the same.

    Also have to chuckle at the Kenyan import that we read about in the media at the start of the tournament. Turns out he was injured all along and can’t play.
