Carter caught drunk driving


Racing 92 flyhalf Dan Carter is facing a drunk-driving charge after being questioned by police on Wednesday.

French magazine Closer report that the All Blacks legend was stopped near the Champs-Elysees and that his blood alcohol level was measured at 0.98 grams of alcohol per litre of blood, with the permitted rate at 0.5 grams.

According to Closer, Carter, who is currently sidelined with a leg injury, was not arrested but will be required to appear in court.
