Lions coach Johan Ackermann went for continuity for their semi-final match against the defending champions the Hurricanes.
The Lions have struggled against the Sharks at home last week and had one of their worst games in two years but a magical kick from Combrinck gave them a narrow victory.
The side have now been unchanged now for three weeks and are due for a better performance than they showed against the Sharks away and at home.
‘The players realised that the kind of game we played last week won’t be good enough,’ Ackermann said. ‘We need to lift our game if we want to compete against one of the best teams in the competition.’
