For the second week in a row the Sharks came out winners in a wet Durban when they beat the Golden Lions 24-10 on Friday.
The match was temporary suspended in play with stormy conditions in Durban but it was the Sharks that more better again in the wet pouncing on the Lions mistakes.
Bosch opened the scoring for the Sharks with a penalty with Thomas du Toit that extended the Sharks’ lead with the game’s first try after picking up and diving over from a few centimetres out.
Bosch extended the lead with yet another penalty landed another penalty before the match was suspended due to fears of lightening strikes. When it resumed, no points were scored and at half-time, the Sharks were 11-0 up.
This was a commanding lead in the conditions and the Lions found it difficult to control the ball making just too many mistakes.
Lions full-back Jaco van der Walt scored his side’s first points through a penalty before Bosch canceled it out with one of his own.
Sharks Keegan Daniel was sinned binned prior to these penalties but the Lions could not capitalise on it.
Bosch was again on the board with another penalty before winger Odwa Ndungane pounced on a loose ball in the air which a Lions player lost, sold a dummy and went over in the corner.
With only a few minutes remaining, Bosch showed his class with a cooly-slotted drop goal.
One minute before the final hooter, scored through Anthony Volmink who gathered the ball and dotted down. Van der Walt nailed the conversion, but the Sharks would not be denied their 24-10 victory.
