Lions pick strong squad for semi’s

Golden Lions coach Swys De Bruin has kept the changes to his squad to the minimum as they face Province this weekend in the first semi-final.

Sylvian Mahuza was called up to the squad with Hacjivah Dayimani dropping down to the age-group teams. Springbok Dreyer has been added to the squad as the Lions aim to upset Province in Cape Town this weekend.

The Lions will have the U19, U20 and senior teams playing in semifinals this weekend showing the strength of the union.

Players like Hacjivah Dayimani, Bradley Thain, Jan-Louis La Grange, Jo Hanko de Villiers, Len Massyn, Madosh Tambwe, Manuel Rass and Rhyno Herbst, all still U21, have all played a massive role in the Lions campaign.

Springboks Coetzee, Janse van Rensburg, Skosan, Cronje, Dreyer and Marx will all be in action this weekend against Province.
