Saders demolish Rebels in try fest

The Rebels fell apart in the second half as the Crusaders demolish them with a 55-10 win on Friday

The first half was full of excitement with both teams getting quickly on the scoreboard. It was however the yellow cards that had the biggest effect in the half.

The Rebels first got a yellow card for deliberate knock down which was followed 5 minutes later by the Crusaders for the same.

Just before the end of the half the Rebels broke out and the Crusaders got their second yellow for professional foul.

The Crusaders was the first to score a try after the Rebels opened the scoring with and early penalty. The Crusaders made the most use of the ball but handling errors and good defence stopped them everytime.

They did get over the line again for their second try which gave them an early 10-3 lead.

The Rebels got their first try from a mistake by the Crusaders to level things at 10-all.

There was some more controversy when the Saders went over for another try and the TMO decided that they knock the ball in the in-goal area.

Just before the end of the half the Crusaders took the lead with a penalty and all to play for in the second half.

The Crusaders hit early in the second half with their third try of the match and a lead of 20-10 which was a handy lead at that moment.

The Crusaders started to dominate and got another try to extend the lead after camping in the Rebels twenty-two.

This gave them a 27-10 lead after 54 minutes.

This was the start of the end for the Rebels as their defence just disappear. The Crusaders eventually put 9 tries against them and ended with a win of 55-10.
