Du Plessis, Steyn withdrawn from Springbok squad

Hooker Bismarck du Plessis and centre Frans Steyn have been withdrawn from the Springbok group because of injury.

Both players sustained the injuries while playing club rugby in France last weekend.

Both went for further investigations and specialist opinions and it was decided to rather withdraw them from the Springbok squad for the Castle Lager Incoming Series against England.

  1. One has to wonder if it’s injury or club over country. I seem to remember French clubs doing this before

  2. Yearite, whatever!!

You mean to tell me the pope isn’t a Catholic?

Once again, they feed us a bunch of crap, and think we’d just swallow, FFS!!

  3. Altrad has spoken, and his money buys the whiskey.

Only reason Vermeulen is playing, is because he is finished with Toulon, and on his way to Japan.

If there were injuries, it would have been said on Sunday already.

  4. @Aldo: @Welshbok die Brandwag:

    Ain’t nobody buying this shit.

They must have miraculously gotten the same injury the in-form, tight-head of the Northern hemisphere Vincent Koche incurred recently when he saw that crap loose-head Nyanke was chosen as the first choice tight-head for the Boks.
