Wales impress with win against Argentina

Wales have two wins from two outings for the June Internationals after they easily beaten Argentina 23-10.

Argentina was poor and were not in the game which is worrying after some great performances from their Super Rugby side.

Although Nicolas Sanchez opened the scoring for the Pumas, the Six Nations outfit dominated the rest of the half and touched down twice through James Davies and George North to open up a 17-3 advantage.

This was also a much better performance from Wales after a scrappy win against the Boks last week in the USA.

Warren Gatland’s men also played some excellent rugby and caused the opposition defence plenty of consternation, which led to a try for the superb Davies following Hallam Amos’ brilliant off-load.

The Argentinians had their chances but they just could not get their game together for long periods in the game.

Wales also won the small battles and deserve the win against their host

Lezana did go over late on but the visitors had the final word through Gareth Anscombe, who kicked a last-minute three-pointer.
