Ox extend his Cheetahs stay

Although there was plenty of rumors going around the last couple of weeks about Ox Nche moving to another club, the Springbok has decided to stay with the Cheetahs.

He is a fan favorite not just with Cheetahs supporters and will be staying in Bloemfontein until 2019.

We first saw Ox in the under-16 Grant Khomo Week in Queenstown in 2011 when he played for the Free State.

Schooled at HTS Louis Botha Ox moved through the ranks as he played for the SA Schools in 2012/13 season and also played in the SA under-20 in 2015.

He played against England ‘A’ last year as well.

“He brings excitement to a game and Free State Rugby are looking forward to seeing him in action in the upcoming matches,” the Cheetahs said via a press statement on Friday.
