Pollard with injury concern for Lions clash

The news is going around that the Springbok and Bulls ten, Handre Pollard has an injury concern ahead of their final match against the Lions this weekend.

Pollard has sat out of Monday training session.

“Handre Pollard picked up an issue with his back. We’ll keep a close eye on his progress during the week,” Rossouw said.

The Bulls still have Odenaal and Ismaiel recovering from injury as Jenkins are being monitored.

It is the Bulls last match of the season as they take on the Lions in Johannesburg

    Bulls merely playing for pride and not coming last in their conference under Mitchell… Boks will be playing for the same if Pollard is not there. Decisions.

    I hope for once the Boks come first and Pollard sits this game out. Let’s see what happens.

    @Aldo:

    Ain’t no way Mitchell wants yet another one of his many Super Rugby wooden-spoons next to his name…

    RC could be a problem with Yster still out and it sounds like Sbu and Pollard maybe also out. Hope Serfontein is re-called who along with DDA will be formidable centre pairing.

    @cab:

    Formidable and stampkar DDA in one sentence… oxymoron of the week.
