  1. Good grief!

    I can still see the value of Duane Vermeulen, but Schalk Brits??

    If it is a plan for the WorldCup, taking into account that we have Marx, Bongi and Akker all in the form of their life, and still transformation issues, where would a 38 year old Brits actually feature? And if they so desperately need Brits for all his experience, Bismarck is younger and has even more experience for heaven sake, and it’s a world Cup year, so his club will have to release him.

  2. Vermeulen looks like a done deal with SARU seemingly having helped him escape his Japanese stint.

  3. Both got 1 more season in them if they train really hard, also will give bulls a good boost in both positions. Now they just need a couple of props – Koch, malherbe

  4. Brits would do well as a leader at the Bulls. Kind of like the way Heyneke Meyer took on an over the hill Anton Leonard to act as a teammate and mentor to the 2003 Bulls. Would do Pote the world of good to have an old hand to keep the charges steady.

    @cab:

    Koch already signed for them like four months ago you twat

  5. Koch is not going to the Bulls.

    In January he made himself available to the Boks via message to Rassie… saying he would return to South Africa in 2019 at the end of his contract.

    Rassie snubbed him for the likes of the three fatty TH’s Nyanke, Louw, Malherbe…

    Koche re-signed with Saracens until 2022.

  6. I read on the planet rugby forum that Duane will play for the Stomps but only for 8 games. It is all that they could afford.
