The Isuzu Southern Kings got their first win of this years PRO14 after beating the Glasgow Warriors 38-28 earning a bonus point as well.
With three losses so far in the PRO14 the Kings needed to step up at home against Glasgow and they did that in the first half scoring three unanswered tries.
Their defence which has been poor so far this season was brilliant in that first half even when they had to play with a man in the bin.
The Kings looked good on attack and breaking the Warriors gain-line with ease in that first half.
The Kings was also dominating the breakdown and made a few turnovers at crucial times.
Game management from this team was great from the Kings interaction between the players being great.
The first half tries was scored by Penxe, Du Toit (2), and Van Rooyen with Banda knocking them all over for the extras.
With a penalty just before halftime gave them a 24-0 lead at the break.
The second half was always going to be difficult but they kept the defence up and scoring tries. Glasgow got their noses over the try line after the Kings gave another yellow card away and manage to score four tries in that second half to earn a well deserved bonus point.
It was a really good win for the Kings and hopefully this will give them the believe to go even better now.
