It was another disappointing performance from the Cheetahs on Friday when they gave away a 21-10 just to loose to the Cardiff Blues 24-21.
The game was good quality as both teams struggle to get momentum in the match and made to many mistakes. It was Cardiff who open the scoring with a try when Reynold Lee-Lo went over. The TMO gave the try although it shown on reply that Lee-Lo knocked the ball on.
The Cheetahs did get one back through Walt Steenkamp which made the score even at 7-all.
Both teams struggled to put phases together and handling errors was the order of the day.
The Cheetahs defence was much better in the first half but did concede a penalty before halftime to give the Blues a 10-7 lead at the break.
With a bit more ball the Cheetahs was first to score through Sibahle Maxane which made it 14-10 lead for the visitors.
The Cheetahs extended the lead to 21-10 when Barend Janse van Rensburg went over for their third try of the match.
It seems that the Cheetahs would get their first win of the season but it was not to be with the Blues coming back with two tries at the end from Lloyd Williams and Olly Robinson to snatch the win at home.
It was a very disappointed performance from the Cheetahs, putting themselves in a great position to take the win just to let it slip yet again.
