There are a few permutations when we head to the clash between the Golden Lions and Pumas this weekend but the bottom line is that it is everything to play for.

Nic Groom will lead the Lions in this crucial final round match in Nelspruit.

With both sides still having a chance to qualify for the semifinals, the winner of the game will go through with the loser likely exiting the competition.

The Lions will have Springboks Jantjies and Mapoe back for this match but will have to do without Marx, Mostert and Whiteley.

Ross Cronje was not considered as he injured his shoulder which ended his season and Andries Coetzee has an ankle injury which will keep him out of the clash.

Dyantyi was available to play and was declared fit on Monday will also not play this weekend. The thought is that he wing is given a well earned rest.

Former SA Schools and SA under-20 centre Wandisile Simelane will start on the wing in the match.

Xerox Golden Lions: Sylvian Mahuza, Wandisile Simelane, Lionel Mapoe, Howard Mnisi, Cournall Skosan, Elton Jantjies, Nic Groom (capt), Hacjivah Dayimani, Jo-Hanko de Villiers, James Venter, Marvin Orie, Rhyno Herbst, Jacobie Adriaanse, Corne Fourie, Sti Sithole.

Reserves: Pieter Jansen, Danie Mienie, Chergin Fillies, Driaan Bester, Len Massyn, Dillon Smit, Shaun Reynolds.
