Good news as Etzebeth may still be playing against France

Erasmus received more good news on Monday after the news that overseas base players Faf de Klerk, Francois Louw, Vincent Koch, Cheslin Kolbe and Franco Mostert joined the squad.

Eben Etzebeth’s foot injury not as bad as initially feared.

Etzebeth picked up a foot injury in the first half last weekend against England.

According to Erasmus, there is a good chance that Etzebeth will be considered for Saturday’s Test against France.

The injury is not as bad as we initially thought and we will give Eben time until Tuesday to prove his fitness,” said Erasmus.

If Etzebeth is ruled out, then RG Snyman should get a starting birth against the French

  1. Glad Etsebeth ok . But I’m hoping papier is given a proper go at 9 and van zyl dropped, also I’d prefer we give other players more game time than Flo. Unfortunately sign this loss, suspect conservative – might JT he s good tour at all.
